Tucked in a quiet area of SS2, I have been itching to try Gooddam for the longest time. I finally made a visit one year after their opening as I was looking for a special occasion to go and I went there on my birthday!
I think the restaurant only fits about 20-25 pax, better make a booking! My photo loving self would have preferred to dine in the afternoon for the best natural day light shots but unfortunately this place only opens in the evening.
I really loved the open kitchen concept. Feel like there’s at least some sort of theatrical element and a connect between diners and chef.
Their home-made yolk-reliant tajarin pasta came highly recommended. Extremely rich in texture and flavor and best enjoyed when shared!
This is their calamari. Not your usual thick batter rings but light coated and served with a dark sauce instead of the usual mayonnaise.
Their sea bass has such nice plating compared to the others above! Not overcooked though I never understood the concept of foam in my food.
Overall, a nice place and ambiance for special occasions. Not in picture is a complimentary slice of cake for birthdays.
