I had the opportunity to stay in Maxim Hotel recently and I personally loved it! It was modern and well-equipped with amenities that I needed and more.
First impression: a cozy, fresh and modern space!
I particularly enjoyed the calming shades of blue and the some what beach themed going on even though it wasn’t a beach resort. Blue is generally easy on the eyes and calming for the soul which is the perfect first impression to welcome guests.
The premier twin was perfect for two people and they have thought about almost every aspect of how to make your guest feel at home. My only complain would be the weak / non-existent wifi. I tried calling their operator to get the wifi working but it still didn’t work. Not the biggest downside if you’re not spending too much time in the room for sure.
Here’s my favourite part, the dressing table in the bathroom!!! The bathroom is of a decent size but this has got to stand out the most to me! I’m sure every girl appreciates this, man those lighting are superb to make sure your highlights are on point, eyebrows on fleek and hair do is #hairgoals before you go out.
The L shape table shape is superbly convenient for me to lay out all my beauty and makeup products. The last thing I need is a narrow counter space to house my products. I had a lot of fun getting ready in here and I for sure dream of having a space like this in my future home. Also, it is so incredibly practical to have a stool instead of a fancy chair as nobody actually sits so far away from the mirror when doing their makeup.
It’s also nice to have a double sink and I found this particularly special as it is actually one huge sink with one drainage but two taps. It somehow makes it more spacious, maybe it’s also because the sink isn’t those bulky ones which sits on top of the counter.
View from my bed. Spot the well stocked mini-bar and coffee maker plus kettle with a selection of tea in this picture. I made an honest mistake and forgot to snap their amenities box in the washroom which was so well stocked with everything I possibly need and more. It’s little things like this that makes the world of difference for guest.
It was a short and sweet escape into the highland and I can’t wait to be back!
