Situated in the very center of Amsterdam, The Royal Palace of Amsterdam is one of the three palaces that is still used by the Royal Family of Holland.
Built at the end of 19th the century, this former post office is now an indoor shopping center and part of the Top 100 Dutch heritage sites! It’s such a beautiful sight, I don’t know how else to describe this place!
Explore the city on a canal bike or a take a day cruise if you’re lazy to pedal. Stumble upon boat houses and unique architectures the city has to offer. Better yet, pedal to your next destination, be it the Van Gogh Museum, Anne Frank’s House or to the Heineken Experience.
Be warned! Trains, buses and cars all utilize the same street and it can get pretty dangerous at times, especially for pedestrians who are first-time travelers to Amsterdam!
