The original highly raved about coconut ice-cream can be found at Chatuchak weekend market. Brace yourselves and be prepared to join locals and tourist alike in the long queue, but I guarantee it’s worth it! For $1, you’d get to have a truly localized experience.
Cheap eats along the roadside is a MUST TRY! Be it their noodles or rice, you’d be sure to be in for a surprise.
Don’t forget to have a go at the infamous Som Tam Nua in Siam Square. While they may be famous for their papaya salad, what really worked for me was their fried chicken.
